Channel & Permission Setup

Tally asks Discord for twelve permissions and nothing else. It has no admin rights.

• Who can add Tally: the server owner, admins, or anyone with Manage Server.
• Channels made for you: when Tally joins, it creates #pnl for cards (unless you already have one), a read-only #total-profit channel with a live scoreboard that updates within seconds of each counted card, and a read-only 🔎pnl-audit channel with every member’s track record. Already have a total-profit channel? Tally takes it over automatically, no command needed. Nobody ever has to type anything to update them.
• Track record (🔎pnl-audit): every member who posted cards in the last 30 days, with how many passed Tally’s checks, how many were caught fake and how many matched their wallet on-chain. It updates by itself every time a card is checked, and logs every fake caught.
• Strikes: a caught fake (paper trading, a made-up card, a doctored card, or another member’s card) is a strike. The 3rd in 30 days is a 24-hour timeout. Tally only calls a card fake when two separate readings of it agree, and a third breaks a tie.
• Roles: members who link a wallet with /link get Verified Trader, and last week’s biggest reported winner gets Top Weekly Earner, moved every Monday.
• On-chain ⛓️: when a member with a linked Solana wallet posts a card, Tally checks it against that wallet’s real trades. If the buys and sells add up to the card, it gets ⛓️. Only trades made after the wallet was linked count.
• When 🟢 Verified starts: once a server is at least 14 days old and has 50 or more members. A server that changes owner, an owner’s second server, or one that looks like a server Tally removed waits for Tally’s staff to review it first. Until then, cards still count as 🟡 Reported.
• Edited cards: if a card’s picture is removed or swapped after Tally checked it, the old check stops counting, Tally says so, and checks whatever’s there now. Deleting or editing a caught fake never wipes the strike.
• 🟢 Verified, 🟡 Reported, 🔴 Caught: 🟢 matched the member’s own wallet on-chain; 🟡 passed every check on the picture; 🔴 fake, doctored, or someone else’s card; 🚫 couldn’t be proven, so it doesn’t count (no strike).
• Breakdown pages: in servers listed on Tally, each counted card gets a one-line reply with a link to its public page: what Tally read, the math check, when Tally first saw it, and 🟢 or 🟡. Hidden servers’ cards are checked the same way but never shown publicly.
• 🚩 Reports: members react 🚩 under a card they think is fake. Tally takes the 🚩 off so nobody sees who reported. Three reports from established members (two on a card with no trader name) make Tally check the card again with its most careful reading, and that decides it. Reports alone never take a card down.
• Copies of anything Tally has seen: every card Tally reads goes in one record, including cards caught as fake or held. A re-saved, resized or cropped copy of any of them is recognised in any server.
• Which channel: Tally reads cards in any channel with pnl, wins, success, trades, gains, profits, flex or receipts in its name, emoji and symbols included (for example 💸│success). Pro and Premium servers can choose any channel with /setup pnl-channel. Type /setup status to check the channel and Tally’s permissions there.
• Fumbles don’t count: a “fumble” card shows money missed by selling too early, not money made. Tally marks it 😭 instead of ✅.
• On Tally automatically: when Tally joins your server, it adds it to the Discords page with your server’s name, picture, member count and a permanent join link. Add a description, tags and price with /setup listing, or hide your server with /setup listing show:False.
• Paper trading doesn’t count: cards from fake-money practice tools like DryFlip, exchange demo modes and fake card makers get ❌ and a short reply, and never count, even when the tool runs on top of a real terminal.
• One card, one owner, across every server: every card counted in any Tally server goes into one shared record. If a different member posts the same card in another server, even re-screenshotted, re-saved or resized, it gets ❌. Whoever posted it first keeps it: if a copy reached Tally before the original, the copy is taken off automatically. A copy with the name cropped off and the same numbers doesn’t count. Posting your own card in more than one of your servers is fine.
• Tally decides every card itself: nobody in your server ever has to check cards. When the numbers don’t add up (profit, % gain, amount in and out, entry and exit always fit together on a real card), when the image looks edited, or when the date is in the future, and a second, separate reading sees it too, the card gets ❌ and a strike. When a card can’t be proven, it gets 🚫 and doesn’t count, with no strike. That covers a trading account another member posted first, an open position on a coin with almost no money in its markets, a coin that never traded near the exit shown, a big win from a brand-new Discord account or member, and a big win with no trader name on it (unless the member’s own wallet shows the trade). A single win over $50,000 or 10,000% counts when two readings read the same numbers.
• Old wins count on their own date: the date printed on a card decides which period it counts in, so reposting an old win doesn’t make it “today”.
• Repeats don’t count: each card counts once per server. If the same screenshot is posted again, or a member posts their same card twice, Tally marks it 🔁 instead of ✅.
• Deleted cards: if a member deletes a card’s message, it stops counting.
• Wrong channel: cards posted anywhere else aren’t read or counted. Ask the member to post it again in your PnL channel.
• Free plan limit: Free servers can submit 100 PnL cards a month. Cards over the limit aren’t counted until the next month. Pro and Premium are unlimited.

Premium: Linking Wallets

Verified wins come from members’ own wallets. On Premium servers, members link a wallet in four steps without leaving Discord, except for the wallet popup itself.

1. Type /link in your serverTally replies with a private button that only you can see.
2. Tap the buttonYour wallet app opens with a short message to sign that starts with “Link this wallet to Tally”.
3. Sign the messageIt’s free and it isn’t a transaction. It can’t move funds or approve tokens. It only proves the wallet is yours.
4. DoneTally confirms in Discord with “✓ Wallet linked”. Trades from that moment on count toward the server’s Verified numbers.

• Why sign at all: without proof, anyone could link someone else’s winning wallet. The signature makes sure every Verified number comes from wallets members actually own.
• What Tally sees: the wallet’s public address and its public trades, losses included. Nothing else.
• Earning the Verified stamp: once at least 15% of members, and at least 10 members, have linked a wallet, the server switches from Reported wins to Verified wins.
• Unlink a wallet: message us in the official Tally Discord and we’ll remove it.
• Stay safe: only sign from a /link button in your own server. If a signing request mentions a transaction, a fee or a token approval, reject it. Tally never asks for that.
• Never sign someone else’s link: if anyone sends you a Tally link to “verify”, don’t sign it. It would give them credit for your wallet’s trades, and that wallet could never be linked to your own account.
• Only trades after linking count: linking a wallet doesn’t bring in its past. Its trades count from the moment it’s linked, losses included, so nobody can link a wallet right after a big win.
• Fair-play rules: each wallet belongs to one Discord account, for good. A member can link up to 5 wallets. Linking needs a Discord account at least 30 days old that’s been in the server for 3 days, so fake accounts can’t pad the Verified member count.

How Rankings Are Calculated

score = 0.55 × tanh(net ÷ tracked members ÷ k)
      + 0.30 × (tracked members ÷ total members)

• Order: Verified servers rank first, by score. Reported servers are listed below them and are never scored.
• Low coverage: servers with fewer than 15% of members counted are listed separately on the Discords page.
• Nothing else goes in. Plans, payments and reviews never change a server’s rank.

How often it refreshes: numbers update shortly after new trades or PnL cards come in. Every page shows an “Updated … ago” badge.

Reported vs Verified Wins

Earning the Verified stamp: a Premium server earns it once at least 15% of its members, and at least 10 members, count: their wallet has been linked for 7+ days and has 3+ closed trades. Until then it shows Reported wins like any other server, and /stats shows how close it is.

Privacy & Data

• What’s public: all tracked data is public on Tally.
• Remove the bot: kick Tally from your server (right-click Tally in the member list → Kick). Or ask us in the Tally Discord to take your server down.
